DR. Bhavika Patel ^MD

Dr. Bhavika Patel is an award winning pain management physician and double Certified in anesthesiology, as well as interventional pain management.

She received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine where she was awarded the Most Outstanding Student Physician in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine. She then completed her anesthesiology residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham Health Systems where she was presented the Award for Excellence in Pain Management. She went on to complete her comprehensive interventional pain management fellowship at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center with a focus on spine and joint pain. Dr. Patel has presented several educational lectures in anesthesiology and pain medicine. She has also authored multiple published research articles.

Dr. Patel has specialized training in minimally invasive, image guided interventional therapies for neck, lower back, and joint pain. She focuses on neuromodulation and other latest innovations in the field of interventional pain medicine. Dr. Patel prioritizes providing high quality care and treating her patients with compassion and respect. In her spare time, she enjoys group fitness and dance classes, traveling, and outdoor activities.
